The cantilever umbrella is a special type of umbrella in which the umbrella mast is moved from the centre of the umbrella to the side. The membrane structure follows a classic design, but is supported from the side instead of from below. This ensures a high degree of freedom of space under the parasol.

The cantilever umbrella is easily opened and closed by means of a removable hand crank. It is rectangular and available in size 3x3m. The umbrella has an aluminium frame which can be powder-coated in white or anthracite. The design end caps protect the membrane from injuries at the edges and fix the membrane. The handle and the end caps can be produced in 6 colours. The shield mast type SA has an oval shape to ensure more stability.

We recommend the membrane MDT-tex 300 Acryl for this cantilever umbrella, because it fits perfectly to the habits of the umbrella. The sunshade should be anchored in the ground, it is possible to use ground sleeves or a core drilling with pile-driving sleeve.

The parasol type SA Home is ideally suited for objects that require a high degree of freedom of space, as the mast is not in the centre of the parasol. Gastronomy or hotels as well as private customers can use the space ideally for their seating arrangement without being affected by the mast.

    DESCRIPTION

MDT-tex introduces a premium range of technical parasols, specifically tuned to customers that require an aesthetic touch to our wind-stable umbrellas. The cantilever umbrella is ideally used for open spaces with pathways or to optimise seating arrangements, offering unrestricted space underneath the area of cover.

The new Home collection offers several advantages over our classic line including strong and lightweight extruded hubs, fabric protecting corner caps and a simpler and lighter tensioning system. The new range of umbrellas set a new standard in terms of aesthetics and functionality without compromising on the quality standards that exist in our industrial ranges. As in our industrial range, our 3x3m cantilever SAH is not compromising wind resistance.

    COVER

The textile cover is attached to the spoke ends by aluminium end caps and stainless steel bolts. The cover is replaceable and is fade, light and water resistant. It is designed to withstand all weather conditions.
