SCHWÄBISCH GMÜND IS CONSIDERED TO BE ONE OF THE MOST BEAUTIFUL CITIES IN SOUTHERN GERMANY, ESPECIALLY DUE TO ITS HISTORIC AND PRESERVED DOWNTOWN AREA. LOCALS AND TOURISTS ENJOY STROLLING THROUGH THIS AREA, AND IT'S ALSO ONE OF THE FAVORITE PLACES FOR LOCALS TO MEET. THE DOWNTOWN AREA ALSO HAS THE CAPABILITIES TO HOST EVENTS, SUCH AS THE CITY'S ANNUAL FESTIVAL. DUE TO THE SCHWÄBISCH GMUND'S PRESTIGE AND BEAUTY, IT WAS SELECTED TO HOST THE STATE GARDEN AND OUTDOOR SHOW IN 2014. IN ORDER TO COMPLEMENT THE AUTHENTIC APPEARANCE, MODERN UMBRELLAS WERE INSTALLED AT THE CITY'S MAIN BUS STATION.

The PVC covers of the umbrellas were attached to the umbrella frames by MDT, using our adhesive welding technique. This feature adds to the durability of the umbrella, which is able to withstand wind speeds of up to 100 km/h. Additionally, a mesh net cover was installed above the umbrella membrane, which guards it from dirt while still allowing the rain water to be cleared. Large areas are protected from rain, without any hassle. The umbrellas were designed for permanent use, which is why they’re not able to be closed. The unique shape and appearance of the umbrellas give any area a special touch, without hindering movement or use of the space.
