With the exclusive 12-meter umbrella from MDT-tex, the outdoor area of the Baur au Lac Hotel has been not only functionally enhanced but also architecturally staged. This large-format double-membrane umbrella, featuring custom-tailored solutions, has become a central design element, offering guests maximum comfort—especially on sunny or weather-uncertain days.

Thanks to close coordination with hotel management, a solution was created that reflects the highest standards of quality, aesthetics, and innovation—while simultaneously making an iconic visual statement in the hotel's garden area.
