The umbrella-like canopy system consists of complex geometries that connect together to form a flexible pavilion, with a unique shape that can be adjusted to suit the constraints of its environment. Typologically we have defined a new class of canopy system that offers both modular shape flexibility with the engineering advantages of a unified structure. The system can be used independently for events, for waterproof walkways or annexed to buildings or marquees to deal with fluctuations in crowd size. Drainage takes place via a series of central supporting columns, allowing the interconnected canopy structures to tessellate endlessly in a flexible variety of configurations.  Assembly time is considerably reduced compared to existing canopy systems, making them ideal for events and ceremonies.

The TEFLON coating, has a “self-cleaning effect”, which prevents the fabric from aging and pollution.
