FRANKFURT
THE BEST VIEW OF THE CITY IS FORM THE SOUTH
WHEN STROLLING ALONG THE AREA KNOWN AS THE MUSEUM ON A WARM SUMMER EVENING, IT IS NEARLY IMPOSSIBLE NOT TO END UP IN THE MIDDLE OF A GROUP OF VIBRANT PEOPLE SITTING AT MAINCAFE. THE AMBIANCE HERE, BELOW THE FILM MUSEUM, IS COMFORTABLE AND LAID BACK. GUESTS RELAX ON WOODEN BENCHES WHILE ENJOYING CIDER, BEER, AND WINE. LOUNGE CHAIRS ARE AVAILABLE FOR RENT FOR LEANING BACK AND GAZING UP INTO THE SKYLINE ACROSS THE MAIN RIVER. MANICURE IS KNOWN AS THE FAVORITE SPOT FOR THOUSANDS OF GUESTS AND HAS BECOME A TRUE INSTITUTION IN FRANKFURT.
PERFECT INSTALLATION
Despite its improvised appearance, the architecture has been carefully planned. Contributing to the look are the six large, white, type T umbrellas that have been casually arranged and permanently installed in the ground. With their integrated lighting, they turn Maincafe into a complement to the brightly lit skyline along the river bank in Frankfurt’s Sachsenhausen district by night.
- telescopic umbrellas
- integrated lighting
- cover with fire retardant protective coating

PLEASANT COOLING
As an optional feature, newly designed sprinklers with water nozzles can create a cool, fine mist to provide an ideal way to cool down even on the hottest days.
They are easily integrated and retrofitted on the lower pole plate. The water is fed through a very thin special hose that is integrated in cable ducts in the pole. The water is either locally guided below ground – and thus invisibly – via the adapter outlet, or laterally through a hole drilled in the pole.
